Unity of luxury and sustainability; the outer appearance of inner values. The luxury products should be things with moral added value. One could speak of “meta-luxury”, because the products no longer refer to money but to inner attitudes, values, virtues and the commitments of their owners. In the case of a luxury villa, the claim shifts from nothing other tan size and ostentation to significant architecture. Churches, castles and villas are the most sustainable buildings of all. They have stood there for centuries, whereas today, new buildings are often planned to last a lifetime due to obsolescence. A Palladio Villa will outlive future generations. The quality is sustainable, the deliberate absence of obsolescence. There are many large villas with garden, terrace and pool. What makes the difference is the architecture. Rooms are luxurious in formal, functional, technical and emotional terms. The greatest luxury in the strictest sense is architecture; function, construction, material and design are successfully harmonize. That is beauty. There is no luxury without style.
